Sorry for how late this post is, you can blame George R. R. Martin and A Dance With Dragons.
When we last left our... morally gray adventurers, they were holed up in the Bloody Hand, Aeon was a fugitive from the Band of the Red Hand, whose officers frequent the Bloody Hand, and the group was spread across the city on account of the spartan laws enacted by the mad wizard lord Obidyr.

Murder, Bribery and Prostitution.
When we last left our ummm... "heroes" they were going into the basement of an abandoned keep occupied by bandits, in an attempt to find a young paladin who had gone missing trying to deal with them, and bring said bandits to justice.

...and the end of many terrible bandits.
Terrible as in not good, not as in fearsome in any way whatsoever.
When we left our adventurers, the captain of the guard in Kingsford had directed them to the site of the last bandit attack, a mere fifteen or so minutes away from the village. There were a couple of burned and broken wagons there, but not much else. Aeon determined quickly that the fire had been mundane in nature, and Aviar locate the tracks of four or five men, leading off to the west, keeping away from the village, but heading back towards the river.

The beginning of a terrible fellowship...
This shall be my D&D blog. I just started DM'ing a new campaign, a first for me, and I'm going to be chronicling the adventures/hijinks of the group here.
To begin, the King of Ahnduin has summoned adventurers, mercenaries and sellswords of all sorts from across the land to investigate the mysterious appearance of an entire army of orcs that leveled the city of Norcayth and occupied it briefly, before an army was mustered to drive them out.
The group all answered the summons seperately, but were seated at the same table. Among them was the human wizard Aeon, dragonborn paladin Arjhan, human bard Holly, dwarven ranger Aviar, and elven rogue Roxy.
